Don’t have or need a full time I.T. professional on staff? Here at Athena Computing we can provide I.T. support on a scheduled or ad-hoc basis. We offer consultancy in all areas of hardware, software, networking, email and web design for home users, SOHO’s (Small Office, Home Office), business startups and SME’s.

Backups
Do you back up your important files? What would you do if you lost all last years accounts? Don’t be fooled into thinking it won’t happen to your business, accidents can and do happen. You insure your property against risks such as fire, flood, electrical failure and damage either accidental or malicious, why not insure your business information. We can arrange weekly, monthly and yearly backups. The advent of CDReWriters and DVD Writers has made this a very cost effective way of achieving peace of mind. This form of backup also has the advantage of being more robust than tape drives and taking up less storage space. We can train a member of staff to backup for you if you prefer to keep it in house.

System Optimization
We can optimize your system making it faster to load and clearing it of unnecessary files and detritus collected over time which slows your system down.

Cleaning
We can arrange for the physical cleaning of monitors, keyboards, mice and system units. Dust collects in the system unit slowing it down and causing a fire risk. It should be cleaned once a year.

Advice
We always give reliable, impartial and professional advice on what best suits your needs and budget and we do it in plain English, we won’t baffle you with jargon.
